What is public

health?

Public Health promotes and protects the health of people and the communities where they live, learn, work and play

The Chariton County Health Center located on 206 State St, Keytesville, Missouri, is a Public Health Department that began in 1956.

We want to assure the citizens of the County have the opportunity to receive the highest quality of care through the development of programs that focus on its citizens needs. We are a tax-supported County Agency with contract funding from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, the county schools, and Federal and State grants.
